Coconut and coconut oil are safe for French Bulldogs in small amounts. However, coconut is very high in fat and calories, so it should only be given occasionally. Coconut water is safe in small amounts but avoid sweetened varieties.

Plain, air-popped popcorn is safe for French Bulldogs in small amounts. However, the popcorn most people eat — with butter, salt, caramel, cheese or artificial flavouring — is not suitable for dogs. Only ever give plain, fully popped pieces.

Olive oil can be given to French Bulldogs in very small amounts as an occasional dietary supplement. It is a monounsaturated fat with potential benefits for skin and coat health. However, it is extremely calorie-dense — a few drops drizzled over food is sufficient. No need for large amounts.
